ABOUT US

The Hankinson Park Board manages both Hankinson City Parks, softball fields, and Lake Elsie Public Beach. 
​They sponsor a youth summer recreation program including softball, baseball, and swimming lessons.

​Girls Softball Age Cut-offs - a player's age, as of December 31, 2023, determines the age at which a player is eligible to play the following year.

  • Girls 8 and under fastpitch - born after December 31, 2013 is eligible
  • Girls 10 and under fastpitch - born after December 31, 2011 is eligible
  • Girls 12 and under fastpitch - born after December 31, 2009 is eligible  
  • Girls 14 and under fastpitch - born after December 31, 2007 is eligible
  • Girls 16 and under fastpitch - born after December 31, 2005 is eligible 
  • Girls 18 and under fastpitch -

HANKINSON CITY PARK

The City of Hankinson boasts two city parks. For more information on park services contact Kayla Vedder at 701-866-3823.


Hankinson Main Park is located at 2nd Avenue and 7th Street SW.  The property is eight full city blocks and includes playground areas, ball fields, basketball and tennis court, pickleball courts, modern restrooms, a campground and plenty of green space. 


Hankinson North Park is located in Hankinson's New Prairie Pines addition at Prairie Drive and 6th Street NE.  The park is currently under development.  Playground equipment has been installed and many trees have been planted.  Future plans include additional playground equipment, basketball court, picnic shelter, and restrooms.
